| Dear Parliament, We present the budget for this legislature. Previous governments have conducted cuts and privatisations which have penalised the istalian working class in order to create a senseless budget surplus for years. Now the government has the possibility to spend all that wealth for the interest of the regular Istalian, by organising an efficient and affordable healthcare system, by investing in first class public universities and research centers, and by organising an efficient and environmentally friendly high speed rail and ferry system that can connect our country. This future is now possible thanks to this new budget, and therefore I wish good work to my colleagues which are now able to implement all the structural reforms they deem necessary for our people and country Fatima Occhiopinto, Minister of Finance |
