Bill: RP: Demonstrations against retirement age increase

Details

Submitted by[?]: Course of Freedom (Kellins faction)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 5206

Description[?]:

On Monday, 250,000 people took part in protest actions called by the unions. They are opposed to the increase in the retirement age voted by the Diet and want to put pressure on the government to cancel the reform.
Within the Left Party, the unease is palpable. The party could bring down the government and campaign against the increase in the retirement age. But on the other hand, it could increase political instability and make the Left Party responsible for an early election.
