RP: President Thomas Concedes Nail biting race; Celebrates UF gains in Senate

Following an extremely close run-off election, the UF's first President Tom Thomas has conceded the election, congratulating the Bread Party canadate. The UF won over 49% if the vote and lost due to the NPP and other parties throwing thier complete support behind the Bread Party from the first round.

Nevertheless, the voters of Hutori recognized the parties that had quit thier cabinet positions just to stimulate a crisis, with the PCPH being reduced to just 11 seats. Meanwhile the UF has gained almost 20 seats putting the party at just under 1/3rd if the Senate.

Tom Thomas congratulated the UF and said his party would work to form a government, now that the People of Hutori clearly spoke thier support for the Front.

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left.
