| Currently, corporations are taxed at 5% on the profits that they make. This bill will increase the tax rate by 1%. Corporation tax makes up roughly 33% of our revenue. Increasing the tax on corporations can allow us to do more and improve the infrastructure, environment, health, or defense of our nation. Some may be against this but I belive its time that we increase taxes for the overall well-being of our nation. Chris Jones, Minister of Finance |
