(This bill was proposed by the Minister of Health and Social Services Daisy Austin) It is our duty to fight the fundemental inequalities of tour society. This is why we must fight inequalities and prejudice where they hurt the most: employement. Jobs are the foundation of one's quality of life, the capacity to land a good paying job will determine someone's life condition. We must not lie to ourselves, they are still prejudice and inequalities the selection of employees. They are still racist employers who will refuse to hire minorities even when they have the skills and misogynist employers that will refuse to hire women even when they have the skills. This is why we must break prejudice and put harsh measure to ensure that marginalized groups are treated fairly Proposition; Article 1) All corporation of more than 50 employees will have the obligation to have a minimum of 30% of their employees be female. Article 2) All corporation of more than 50 employees will have the obligation to have a minimum of 10% to be from a marginalized group, may it be from a visible minority, from a sexual minority, from a gender identy minority, form a disability or from a minority ethnicity. Article 3) A corporation that use to have less than or have 50 employees but now have more than 50 employees will have 2 years to apply the article 1 and the article 2 to their corporation, starting from the moment they have more than 50 employees. Article 4) A corporation might be exempted from the article 1 and the article 2 if they can prove to the court that it's is reasonably impossible for them to met the said criteria without threatening the security of their employees or their profitability. Proposals Article 5.1) Any corporation that fail to comply the article 1 to 4 of this current bill shall receive a fine for each years that they fail to comply Article 5.2) The amount of the fine shall be of 1000 HLR per employee missing from the quotas prescrive in article 1 and article 2 Article 6) Every departement of the Governemetn of Hutori shall have a minimum of 30% of it's employee to be female and a minimum of 10% to be from a marginalized group, may it be from a visible minority, from a sexual minority, from a gender identy minority, form a disability or from a minority ethnicity. Article 7) All articles of this bill shall only become law upon january of the year 5251 |
