| Today Prime Minister Jake Rio has announced his resignation as Leader of the Luthorian Conservative Party. He has served in several positions in government as Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Home Secretary, and a two term Defense Secretary. After facing a second election lose 40 plus seats he had chosen to stand down and said he will remain as Prime Minister until a new government can be formed. The election for Leader of the Luthorian Conservative Party will be under way shortly with Home Secretary Birch Meeroff (40) and Education Secretary Terry Hollingsworth (55) as top contenders. |
