Description[?]:
The national and official language of Tukarali, today known as Tukarese, has a long and prestigious history in our nation. But what is now known as Tukarese did not always carry this name. Instead, the honour of being known as simply the "Tukarese language" belonged to one of the indigenous languages spoken in our territory, today known as Datang (Tagalog). The unification of Tukarali as a modern nation state under the glorious Ryan Malagar indirectly paved the way towards the adoption of a single national language. But Modern Tukarese did not come to prominence for many centuries afterwards. During the rule of Malagar and his successors Datang and Panmuan (Mongolian) served as the official languages, and it was during those times that modern Tukarese culture was built. To honour our predecessors and in homage to the indigenous people of Tukarali we propose that Datang be returned to official status and that the government invest in language revitalization programmes. We also propose adopting a new bilingual national anthem that makes reference to our glorious land and celebrates all Tukarese cultures. |

Proposed:
Tukarese (Portuguese): Terra adorada Filha do Sol do Oriente, Seu fogo ardente em ti latente está. Terra escolhida! Do heroísmo berço, Os invasores Jamais te pisarão. Luthorian (English): Land of the morning, Child of the sun returning, With fervor burning, Thee do our souls adore. Land dear and holy, Cradle of noble heroes, Ne'er shall invaders, Trample thy sacred shore. Even within thy skies and through thy clouds, And o'er thy hills and sea. Do we behold the radiance, Feel the throb of glorious liberty. Thy banner, dear to all our hearts, Its sun and stars alight. O, never shall its shining field, Be dimmed by tyrant's might! Beautiful land of love, O land of light, In thine embrace 'tis rapture to lie. But it is glory ever, when thou art wronged, For us, thy sons, to suffer and die. |

Message | It's okay to change the national anthem because the current one isn't nice, but we can't consider a language that is almost dead and that hasn't been recognized for years like Datang, it would be absurd to invest money to revitalize an old and meaningless language and it would be unthinkable have it studied in schools and use it to compose a national anthem, so we completely disagree with the reintroduction of the datang. |

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
