Bill: Movement for a new national motto

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lotus Coalition of the Endless Knot

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2244

Description[?]:

We at the AMSSM reject the current national motto as it is politically tied and as such does not fulifll the main task of a national motto, to unite the people.

It should be noted that this bill is designed as a vote on whether or not the motto should be changed, not on what it should be changed to.

All those that wish to change the national motto vote yes and all those that wish to maintain the current one vote no.

Yes but this is motivated not towards represnting ideals that are universally shared, democracy, liberty, freedom... yes we know it says freedom but in our minds economic freedom is not freedom at all. Just because those were the principles the nation was founded on does not mean that they have to remain for ever, things evolve and if you stop them then you will only be left behind.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
