| Republican Times - 20 August 5350 As the Socialist Liberal Party officially launched the campaign on January 5350, they continued this by starting to organize campaign rallies. The first rally was organized in the Fort William, and unlike the previous rallies, the new slogans were meant for positive campaign strategies rather than negative campaign strategies. The rallies, starting in 20 August 5350 and lasting until the elections, will be organized in every major city of Luthori. The first rally in 20 August was organized in Fort William and it started with the speech of the party President Erika Harris: "We stand here for renewing and reforming Luthori. An open and just Luthori will come when you want, in recent years, while there was still notable progress towards an open Luthori, that goal could not be fully reached, it is time to reform the state of affairs in order to reach an open Luthori. The society changes when the individual changes. Social justice, civil liberties, openness- all of these are goals which can be reached and for reaching these goals, SLP was formed. However, in the recent times, the far-right Fatherland Front saw a surge of support, however, it is not the time to panic as it is a party which will likely suddenly rise and suddenly fall. The SLP will work for collaboration with other progressive parties, most notably the Union of the Lion. The UoL has many policies which intersect with the platform of SLP, and it will be relatively easy to form a coalition with them if we can reach a coalition agreement which will make all parties happy with it. When it comes to Constitutional Democratic Union, we do not agree with their social conservatism and economic liberalism. However, still, they are preferrable to the Fatherland Front and we will think collaborating with CDU if it is absolutely necessary to stop the rise of far-right ultranationalism. Overall, the future of Luthori will be determined by the votes of the people in the approaching generel elections of June 5351. I hope the elections will give the best possible results for the people. See you!" The rally was another step of SLP during the current electoral cycle. As elections approach, campaigns start, the campaigning strategies, together with the voter sentiments, will determine the final result of the 5351 elections, and therefore the destiny of Luthori. |
