MessageGenerally, here at the NPMP HQ and Jazz Bar (#33 Ave. Soso V. Koba, Victoria, Uleroth), we tend to place bets on which corporations can come up with the most creative/vicious flames (there's a complicated scoring system). If you win the bet, you get the money and if you lose, you have to perform some sort of embarassing stunt (we based ourselves in Uleroth for a reason).

Anyway, why do we need standards again?

MessageWe need some basic standards to avoid harm of our citizens.

e.g.
A food company is using ads for its "natural pudding" saying it is made from biological ingredients.
But if the company is using chemicals and aroms instead it will will a ly and this should be possible.
Thou the companies have to lable their products, we all know the most people are to lazy to read but are "trusting" the ads.
It is worse if such a company promise to use biological ingedients but it isn't doing so.
There are people outside who "believe" such a promise.

At least a basic standard should be used.

MessageWe already have laws against the publication of false information. Do we need additional laws that do essentially the same thing?

***off-topic***

"Think Marko Saliyudari" (He can't figure out why his wife wants to be the ambassador to Sekowo)

"Aleksandra Saliyudari. See more. Do more." (She wants more action, and will get it by finding the right country to be the ambassador to)

Now that was strangely appropriate... Thanks, Sloganizer!

MessageIndeed we do so.
As the most know ads should convince consumers to buy a product of a special company.
Nothing wrong with that.
But the consumer should be able to take his own decision.
But this isn't possible if ads are using milli sec pics to short to recognize directly but long enough to influence the mind.
This can't be the choice to keep a selfdetermind consumer.
