Message | We put this new policy in place to ensure the rights of all married individuals. The marriage policy of Ikradon is among the most progressive in the world; thus, the only sorts of marriages our current policy would disallow would be those that were performed without the consent of both spouses. |
Date | 21:27:11, July 03, 2006 CET | From | Liberal Party | To | Debating the Foreign Marriage Act of October 2248 |
Message | Our current spousal abuse laws would adequately take care of any non-consensual marriages; this is a matter of principal, and we believe that marriage should not be subject to multiple, and sometimes conflicting, definitions. |
