Bill: Fishing for Dollars

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Industrialists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2252

Description[?]:

"If Keymon has an excellent shoreline for fishing, then why not use it to it's ful extent? Red snappers, sea bass, crabs, and tuna are just waiting to be harvested along Keymon's pristine shores, but alas, cannot. Is it really necessary to worry about overfishing when there is an abundance of fish in Terra's oceans? We, The Democratic Industrialists say that it is not only necessary for the wealth fishermen and businessmen of Keymon, but also to prove the economic establishment of freedom that is in Keymon, can truly exist." -Tab Yero Sr., Leader of The Democratic Industrialists

MessageThe current quotas protect the "abundance of fish" you speak of. If we allow unlimited fishing, soon there will be no fish to support the industry at all.
