MessageWe oppose the removing of God from the national anthem. Freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion.

And we must support instilling patriotic pride among our children.

MessageThey can silently omit the word God if their conciousness so moves them, I suppose.

The national anthem needs changing, we agree. But we shouldn't change our laws to teach our children that apathy is alright. They should participate in democratic patriotism, a love for the country that guarantees them so many benefits. If they don't like it, when they reach the age of majority they can leave.

MessageBut we have a proud and secular national anthem praising Telamon, not some British rip-off which makes little to no sense in this nation.... We don't have a queen...

MessageActually, you're right. We support, though this probably won't pass with the TCP inactive and the CUP most likely opposed.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.
