Bill: Shadow Ministry Proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: First Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2076

Description[?]:

There is a possibility of the subversion of democracy by requiring that the shadow ministry be voted for.

As a result, we propose that should 2/3 of the parties (in terms of seats) that are NOT in the cabinet, say aye to the proposed Shadow Ministry, that it shall be in immediate effect.

MessageWhat subversion? Since when would we need to vote against such a measure. You are perfectly entitled to create such a cabinet anyway.

MessageWhy we would trust you to uphold democracy, there are other parties that do not have that level of trust from us. And you must recognise that it is a possibility.
