Message | The Blue Party feels this is necessary to ensure the prevention of police oppression. The only reason a government could justifiably suspend a freedom is by emergency only and any political faction friendly to the individual and the people of the Republic would only agree. |

Message | We reiterate that the only circumstance in which a government can justifiably suspend the freedom to assembly is during extreme and emergency situations. Anything else is authoritarian and works against the namesake of your party. |

Message | The Totalitarian Party is against this bill. The police must have the power to protect our nation's citizens. |

Date | 07:27:56, November 12, 2006 CET | From | Gaduri Green Socialist Union | To | Debating the Freedom and Fairness (Right of Assembly) Act |
Message | The meaning of the policy should be interpreted as allowing suspension of the right to assemble during a formal declaration of emergency. Such a declaration is easily made by the government. Such a suspension of civil rights should only be made by the government during a situation. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
