Description[?]:

In the spirit of liberty and treating our citizens like the adults they are, we wish to allow them to decide for themselves what they will put into their bodies. Those under age are not yet capable of intelligent consent and therefore cannot indulge in such potentially dangerous practices.

MessageWe are concerned by the over-riding willingness of this Bill to allow our citizens to poison themselves, but we can see value in proposals 1, 4, and 5. We are divided on the benefits of proposal 2, but on balance could probably support.

Proposal 3, however, imposes a ridiculous double standard. We are regulating tobacco and alcohol, albeit minimally, but heroin, cocaine and hallucinogens do not deserve a similar degree of caution, at the very minimum? Cannabis legal as a sedative, but as the is a pharmaceutical free-for-all,why specif.

We cannot support this Bill with that proposal intact.

MessageWe have added the same regulations concernung adult use only to all provisions of this bill. While we thought that would be implied, we are grateful to the MRP for pointing out the possiblity that it could be misinterpreted.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.
