Bill: Governmental Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Likaton Coalition of the Willing

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2321

Description[?]:

We believe that the current electoral system is restrctive, and prevents stable government.

We wish to:

(i) Increase the available proposals per annum, to allow more detailed legislation
(ii) To expand the elecctorate to include ages 18-20. these citizens deserve suffrage
(iii) To extend the duration of a government. Given the time to propose a bill, and the frequency of elections, it is difficult for any incumbent party to craft all the legislation appropriate.
(iv) Reduce the number of representatives; given the lower number of competing parties, this does not seem unreasonable.

MessageItotaly agree with all the articles except article 3. We belive that 48 months is a very long period and it should not be longer than 40 months, alowing a normal change in the power.
