A Proposal to redistribute the land ownership in the country to increase nationwide ownership and to decrease large estates owned by few families. Land beloning to individuals in th 10% of the income bracket will have a total of 50% of their lands confiscated, they will not be compensated at lowest market price for their loss. 15% of the land acquired will go to government projects as is to be deemed necessary by the relevent cabinet posts. The other 85% of the land will be distributed evenly to the lowest 25% of the tax income bracket. Those who do not wish to take their share of land can sell it back to the government for the lowest market price. |
