Such disasters only serve to demonstrate how grotesquely selfish our current foreign aid policy is.

Taking that into account we propose the following alteration.

MessageWe are in support of this proposal, especially since we still have control over how much aid we can actually afford. It is important for those who are against helping out our fellow humans in crisis to remember that the decision remains ours. However, compassion and humanity make the decision an easy one, in our view. We applaud this gesture by the Rihannsu Party.

MessageAgreed. Even though it goes against our isolationist sentiments, we feel we should make an exception in this case.

MessageThen again... we don't feel that giving 'moderate aid to countries in need' is 'grotesquely selfish'. We'd like to see a clear definition of 'moderate' and 'high levels' of aid before endorsing such a commitment.

MessageBecause I don’t hold any of the relevant positions I can’t make any guarantees as to what the definitions would translate into in actual figures. So basically your estimate is as good as mine. I still feel this would be a good gesture for us to make though.

Let’s put it to the vote and see.

MessageNumber of seats counted for YES is higher (while being just a newbie I don't know how many seats we need to stand on with a new law).
But the number of seats who did not participate yet in this bill debate is still higher among these who voted for the law ... and this rises a question: if people knows what they voted YES?

My own opinion about this subject is positive, but I can't find the page or the year when this terrorists attack happened. For the year 2081, February, I discovered that in the republic of Aloria some people are accused of bribery ... and this is what may happen with the aids sent by Kundrati Union (such as FOOD, see February news, 2081).

I think that this law must have more details before we pass it ... The most important must reffer to a kind of "world bank" able to guarantee the "way back home" of the funds sent for aid support if the aids consists of huge values and numbers. Or if the aid is just moderated or over moderated then it has to come from the people, from the industrial sector the suggestions.
