Bill: Income tax proposal of March 2331

Details

Submitted by[?]: AM Radical Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2332

Description[?]:

The AM Radical Libertarian Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the The Free Axis Mundi Republic of Central Likatonia.

We propose a 1% decrease in the tax on the lowest bracket, allowing those most in need of their hard earned wages to keep a bit more of them. This will still leave us with a small surplus to meet any emergency situations.

MessageSeeing that this cuts taxes only for those in the lowest bracket and not for the wealthy, while maintaining the surplus, the PLP can vote for this bill.

MessageWe can also support this measure for the same reasons as expressed by the PLP and hope that more progressive tax measures will be implemented in the near future.
