Bill: Easy Math Parliament Size Proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: AM Populist Social Democrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2332

Description[?]:

We are proposing this to see how it would work, whether it would have support: a Convocation size that would make figuring a majority easier and is not needlessly large: Libertarian-leaners should approve of this reduction in size and thus in the number of leghislators who must be paid.

We will wait to put this to a vote to see if something else would work better for everyone, but as I write this we would prefer to have 199 seats in the Convocation, which would mean that 100 was the number of votes needed for a majority.

If people like it, we'll bring it to a vote. If people prefer a different number, we'll consider different numbers. If people aren't interested in changing parliament size, we'll scrap it. Please let any opinions be known.

MessageSince no one has commented on this, we are hoping that people find it satisfactory and will vote for it. The opposite may be true, of course; but I guess the only way we'll find out is to call a vote.
