| We have to think in the long term to serve our citizens and therefore Empire's interests best. Fishing provides us sea food and a various food table at home. But do our children and grand children have the same chance? Will they see fishes in future years? Overfishing may help the current fishing companies to earn more money but oit will also ruin the Empire's future. As soon as the sea is empt of fishes all fishers will be jobless, no sea food will be available anymore and this will be dangerous. Fish provides Jod human beings need for there life. Also a fish free sea will change the environment of our Empire as other sea animals will grow up faster. And a changed environment in the sea will effect land based environment. As island based nation we have to take a close and good look to ensure a stable environment. This is one of the most important issues. Other options are suicide in rates. |
