Whereas, This proposal may be planned for the preferred thoughts proposal, but Whereas, Even if it is it would require a two-thirds vote there rather than a simple majority, and Whereas, We believe it deserves a vote on its merits, and Whereas, Many countries do allow minors to use alcohol with little if any ill effect, We hereby propose that the government shall not regulate who may buy or use alcohol with the exception of laws against irresponsible drunken behavior that are already on the books. |
