Details
Nation[?]: Federale Republiek van Seridjan (Saridan)
Seats[?] in Volksraad (People's Council)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
The NPSP aims to put Saridan on a new path to equality, peace and freedom. The party was founded by activists from the Saridan Teachers Union (STU), the Electrical Engineers Union of Saridan (EEUS), the Saridan Fire Fighters Union (SFFU) and a small group of Left-wing military officers who are dissillusioned with the current regime. The party also has strong links with the Saridan Peasants Front (SPF), a group campaigning for land rights for the rural poor and the National Co-operative Tenants Association (NCTA), campaigners for improved housing in poor communities. The party's name indicates the desire for a clean break with the past and to go on to build a nation worthy of it's people. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
