Description[?]:
The Socialists (formerly the Radical Democratic Convergence) stand for Democracy, Devolution, Secularism, and Solidarity. It is a party of the radical left with support for a mixed market economy with a socially inclusive welfare program. Hospitals and Health: Reduce hospital waiting times by allowing nurses, surgeons and doctors to make decisions on treatment and care, using private and foreign hospitals when appropriate, building new local hospitals and giving better support to home carers. Schools: Give our children the education they deserve by implementing a more rounded curriculum, a longer and more supportive school day, a fully independent exam system and stronger truancy controls. Social Services: Increase front-line services and reduce bureaucracy so that people who really need help can access it more simply and effectively. Crime: Dramatically reduce violent crime by investing massively in community policing and by removing offenders from society through first-time prison sentencing. Environment: Work for a cleaner environment in balance with the needs of the people, and build a multi-billion pound fund to help those overseas most affected by global warming. Immigration: Control immigration and the influx of foreign workers through the introduction of ‘easy-visas’. Protect and welcome asylum seekers but manage absorption into society. Defence and foreign policy: Properly protect our borders, our country and those living in fear in the world by doubling front-line forces, investing in the best arms and technology and working with our allies to act sooner when danger threatens. Transport: Aim for safe, fast, reliable and clean travel at fair cost by investing in a new rail building programme,, new subsidised bus routes and fairer, more ring fenced road taxes. Taxation: Implement a fairer taxation system by introducing a new tax for the very highest earners that will go to the poorest in society, and by giving Cildanian people the power to decide on raising or reducing taxes and by how much. Pensions: Ensure everyone has a safe, protected, earnings based pension that supports them in retirement. Remove taxes and costs from private sector companies to enable this to happen More info can be found at the link below http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Radical_Democratic_Convergence |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
