Description[?]:
The Pacifist Socialist League was set up as an alternative Socialist Party that was also opposed to militarism and war, unless it was purely defensive. It is also mostly liberal on Civil Liberties, progressive in society and staunchly secular. They believe in high-quality education and health, and are not afraid to tax the rich to achieve it. The party is mostly Social Democratic, there are some more left-wing aspects, but is for the large part united behind their leader. See http://80.237.164.51/particracy/wiki/index.php/Pacifist_Socialist_League for a detailed list of policy. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "Changing the way we measure things is vital. So is decompartmentalising society making sure that economics and politics are not divorced from other crucial areas of life." - David Attenborough |
