Description[?]:
Cobura First is a Social-Democratic party which fights for three objectives: 1) The gradual transformation of Cobura into a socialist society, with the economy and all social services under the control of the state. 2) The eventual political annihilation of all conservative forces in the country. 3) The transferring of power to the working class, through increasing the power of the Trade Unions and by forming a Workers' Government. After the worker protests and it's brutal repression at the hands of the National Conservative Front, Cobura First agreed to join the government with the right-wing Republican Party. Although opposed by many Cobura First members, this policy proved to be correct. It led to Cobura First winning support from a wider range of voters, and resulted in the election of the first Cobura First President, August Thalheimer. October 2644 - President August Thalheimer November 2645 - President August Thalheimer July 2651 - President August Thalheimer |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
