Description[?]:

Our party supports civil rights, democracy, secularism, gender equality, internationalism and the freedoms of speech, the press, religion and markets. We believe in the importance of social justice and that the state should address issues such as unemployment, health care, education, and the expansion of civil rights. Our ideology is centered on the role of the citizenship in a state organized as a republic under which the people hold popular sovereignty by promoting citizen participation in public affairs. We support the improvement of society by reform and not violent revolution. Our goal is the devolution or distribution and management to smaller administrative units to prevent governments with a strong central concentration of power. The state should be organized as the union of sovereign states and a weak central authority, united by common brotherhood. We advocate the preservation, restoration, and improvement of the natural environment.

ECONOMIC POLICY:

The UDRC supports Caillean capitalism (OCC social market economy or Rhine capitalism) a socioeconomic model combining a free market capitalist economic system alongside social policy which establishes both fair competition within the market and a welfare state. The UDRC believes in a coordinated market economy designed as a third way between laissez-faire economic liberalism and socialist economics that emphasizes the need for the state to ensure that the free market produces results close to its theoretical potential.

Caillean capitalism is strongly inspired by social democratic ideas and the tradition of Aurorian Patriarchal Church social teaching. This socioeconomic model refrains from attempts to plan and guide production, the workforce, or sales, but it does support planned efforts to influence the economy through the organic means of a comprehensive economic policy coupled with flexible adaptation to market studies. Effectively combining monetary, credit, trade, tax, customs, investment, and social policies, as well as other measures, this type of economic policy creates an economy that serves the welfare and needs of the entire population, thereby fulfilling its ultimate goal.

IMMIGRATION POLICY:

The UDRC supports an immigration policy that deals in a humane way (reflecting the tradition of Aurorian Patriarchal Church social teaching) with the transit of people across its borders into the country, but especially those that intend to work and stay in the country. The UDCR supports immigration policies that allow most types of migration without any racial or religious bias that will help immigrants to integrate themselves in the country while respecting the multiculturalism brought by those immigrants.

The UDCR believes that immigrants provide significant economic benefits, not only higher-skilled migrants who are vital for our economy, but unskilled immigrants are an essential part of the construction, agriculture and services sector of our nation. Contrary to the belief that immigrants take jobs and destroy economies, the UDRC argues that immigrants contribute significantly more in taxes than the benefits and services they receive in return.

An important aspect of immigration policy for the UDCR is the treatment of refugees. The UDCR supports to grant asylum to those who face persecution or fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.

The UDCR supports integrationist policies that promote multiculturalism and encourage the exchange of cultural values between the two societies for both immigrants and refugees. Integration policies allow for a mutual relationship between immigrants/refugees and our society, which will eventually lead to successful integration in the future. These policies should include access to education and language training, vocational training, access to health care and housing, and actions to support cultural exchange.

LANDMINES AND NUCLEAR, CHEMICAL, AND BIOLOGICAL WEAPONRY POLICY:

The UDRC has the stated objective of a world free of landmines and nuclear, chemical, and biological weaponry. We propose the creation of a network of active members worldwide working locally, nationally and internationally to eradicate landmines and nuclear, chemical, and biological weaponry. We hope that Egelion will sign an international treaty which bans the use, production, stockpiling, and transfer of landmines and nuclear, chemical, and biological weaponry. Moreover, we support the creation of an international organization to monitor the global landmines and nuclear, chemical, and biological weaponry, conducts advocacy activities, lobbying for implementation and universalization of a landmines and nuclear, chemical, and biological weaponry ban treaty, and support landmines and nuclear, chemical, and biological weaponry survivors, their families, and their communities.
