Description[?]:
The Kirlawan Popular Front (Tosaigh Coitianta na Choiarlabhan) as reformed in 5469 is a left wing libertarian/populist party inspired by the KPF of previous centuries. It was formed by left wing members of the resistance to the Junta of the mid 55th Century. During the next couple of decades the KPF was the dominant force in the Dáil, sometimes the only group represented in the chamber, but in the 5490s opposing parties became more organised and the KPF lost its hegemonic status. The Popular Front is a union of several left wing political parties, as follows: Socialist Party of Kirlawa Red Green Alliance Left Anarchist League Popular Communist Party of Kirlawa Party of Hosian Social Democrats Sons and Daughters of the 2369 Revolution Ertigonist Party The main policies of the KPF are: - A fair tax system that ensures the wealthy contribute more to the general welfare of the nation. - Strong public services to provide for the healthcare, education, and support for the poorest in society. - An economy that works for Kirlawa, with public ownership (national or local) and Democratic Workers Councils promoted. - A strong defence, but with democratic accountability to avoid military interference in politics ever returning. - A fair but firm immigration regime. - Individual freedom in all areas of social life. Government to avoid meddling in personal decisions on how to live one's life. Racial, Sexual, Religious, Gender and other freedoms and equalities to be guaranteed. Only where the rights, welfare and freedoms of others would be infringed should the state intervene. - Honour the legacy of the 2300s Revolution that restored democracy and freedom to Kirlawa from the Lucasite Fascists, and the sacrifices of the 5450s and 60s made by Kirlawan and foreign opposition to the Junta. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
Random quote: "They can call us communists and fascists all they want but, their words are of a hollow ring with the blood of innocence at their feet." - Mathew Jameson, former Hutorian politician |
