Description[?]:
The Colonial Party is a far-right party supporting colonialism and assimilation into the Hulstrian Crown. ---- The New National Party is a reformation of the old Hulstrian National Party, which was active in the late 2700s to early 2900s. The NNP stresses several points: (a) regional autonomy under a strong Emperor (b) sensible foreign policy that favors national interests first (c) moderate social conservatism (d) mixed market economy (e) religious traditionalism In summation, the NNP supports conservatism and federalism. Historical platform: The Hulstrian National Party values the continuation of Hulstrian prosperity and culture. The HNP supports policies which seek to enhance and enrich our already spectacular culture, and wishes to avoid any types of events that may interfere with or dilute Hulstrian culture. Therefore, the HNP fiercely opposes Hulstrian international involvement except in extreme circumstances that benefit the Monarchy. The HNP is staunchly isolationist, believing that wars wear down culture; we are staunchly protectionist, believing that foreign peoples will only hurt our domestic market and weaken our economy; we are staunchly in favor of extremely limited immigration, for immigration dilutes Hulstrian identity. We believe that Hulstria, by only acting on the international level in only a limited way, we can grow our culture and economy beyond any other in the world. Socially, the HNP greatly values our Lutheran heritage and we believe strongly in a conservative, religious outlook. Thus, while the HNP tolerates the existence of other religions, the state should be involved in Lutheran festivities and events. Therefore, the HNP is staunchly nationalist, conservative, royalist, and isolationist. "The belief in the possibility of a short decisive war appears to be one of the most ancient and dangerous of human illusions." Robert Lynd (1879-1949) |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
