Description[?]:
The Progressive-Conservative Alliance was created in 2316. After many decades of continuing defeat for both parties, a convention was held between the members of the Progressive Alliance and the Conservative Party. In an overwhelming show of support from both sides the two parties merged. Dedicated to both the values of progressivism and conservatism the Progressive-Conservative Alliance is dedicated to promoting the interests of the Republic of Aldegar abroad as well as the welfare of our people at home. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
