Nation[?]: État d'Aldurie (Alduria)
Seats[?] in Assemblée Nationale[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
The Aldurian Marxist-Labour Party was founded in order to bring about the inevitable historical evolution of a Socialist State, and to bring about an end to the inherantly oppresive Monarchy in Alduria. It stands for workers rights, including workers control of industry and just wealth redistribution, and believes that true equality will only come once the old order has been overthrown. Founded in January, 2233 by a congress of Aldurian Revolutionary Far Left Socialists and Communists in Aldur City, the AMLP was rebranded the Aldurian Bolshevik Party in 2256. During the 2200s, the AMLP/ABP were staunch opponents of the Aldurian Jacobite movement, and occasional allies of the Bendiri Banditos and the Aldurian Libertarian Socialist Party in efforts to block Jacobite attempts to reestablish monarchy in Alduria. With the closing of the century, however, a string of electoral routs forced the Bolshevik movement into the underground, where it would remain for 450 years. In 2710, a group of intellectuals and a small number of workers picked up the banner once held by the ABP, adopted their name, and once against launched a campaign for justice and worker's rights. The adoption of the Anti-Communist Treaty by Alduria, however, forced party chairman Gregorio Andonowa to call a congress of all Aldurian leftists and opponents of the Imperial system. Meeting in Odetea, the Congress announced its firm opposition to the Imperial system, and ultimately drafted the manifesto for the Radical-Revolutionary Party. Anarchists, socialists, communists, and other left radicals united in common opposition to the Imperial system, state religion, and capitalism. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
