Description[?]:
ESTABLISHED: April, 4206 ——————————————————————————————————— PARTY LEADER: Henry Marchánd ——————————————————————————————————— IDEOLOGY: Far Right ——————————————————————————————————— HQ: Belfort, LT ————————————–——————————————————————- The Nationalist Party was founded in April 4206 by Hugo Gastón. Gastón, a prominent Kanjor entrepreneur, who was the founder and former CEO of G&H Arms Tech, initially joined politics as a candidate for the leadership of the NFU in 4204. Gastón built a large support base among the NFU voters, but the party rejected his "new brand" of right wing politics, and citied him as an inexperienced and untraditional candidate. The party instead opted for the more traditional Neo conservative candidate Antionette Le Fille. A growing frustration ensued among NFU voters who much preferred Mr Gastón's anti establishment, populist brand of politics. After the NFU had made the announcement that Antionette Le Fille would lead the party in the 4205 election, Hugo Gastón slammed the NFU as being a party of "establishment Neo Cons" who did not care about the people of Kanjor. Many of Mr Gastón's support base felt the same way about the NFU, and thus defected from the party. During the 4205 election, a group, many of whom were supporters of Mr Gastón, started a political movement called the Nationalist Brigade. The Nationalist Brigade had echoed many of Hugo Gastón's political positions, including, reducing the size of government, closing the borders, and leaving the Seleyan Union. The Nationalist Brigade had also started a campaign to incarcerate members of the Progressive Socialist Party, including former President Sophie Perry, for the mishandling of tax payer money in the "tax gate" scandal in late 4205. In April 4206 Hugo Gastón gave a speech to members of the Nationalist Brigade at a rally in the Kanjor capital of Soulon, where he announced the formation of his new political party, the Nationalist Party. ————————————–—————————————————————— POLITICAL AIMS ——-————————————————————————————————- •Lower taxes to a flat tax of 20 percent •Cut unnecessary regulations •Cut government spending by 20 percent •Close the Borders and massively reduce Immigration intake •Deport Illegal Aliens •Leave the Seleyan Union •Legalise natural occurring drugs •Improve healthcare through privatisation •Rebuild the military •Reduce public sector •Privatise Education •Promote Bilateral Trade •Protect the right of gun ownership ——————————————————————————————————-- CANDIDATES —————————————————————————-—————————- Head of Gov - Gerád Lauvín Foreign Aff - Franck Le Gaulle Internal Aff - Lionel Blanc Finance - Ricard Herteaux Defence - Gen. Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
Random quote: "My tenure will be controversial and it is, quite obviously, true that I am the most right-wing Prime Minister this country has seen in several decades.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician |
