Details
Nation[?]: Dorvische Republik (Dorvik)
Seats[?] in Staatsrat (State Council)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
A freshly-formed populist fascist faction in Dorvik, gaining popularity amongst a small but devoted section of the population - mostly those left discontent from the sudden disappearance of the National Volkspartei . Although not currently powerful, a skill with words and a growing discontent with stagnant centrism make the DNP a party to watch. The primary interest of the DNP is simple; the strength of Dorvik, through any means and methodology possible. However, they are fairly singular in their beliefs of what exactly makes a stronger state. Unlike most nationalistic parties, the DNP is, interestingly enough, individualistic, believing in the concept of strong individuals working together for a powerful state - instead of the usual concept of a sacrifice of the self for the sake of the state. Economic: The DNP is, economically, protectionist through the lens of nationalism, only voting for trade that benefits both Dorvik and the industries within it. They are convinced that competition is the root of all strong economies, and work towards an economy with little direct state control (though are often in favor of state alternatives in certain industries, such as healthcare, and support the right of the state to order any corporate or industrial entity within as it desires). The DNP believes a strong economic backbone makes for a strong nation, and therefore try to reign in socialistic economic influence as best they can. Political: The DNP is Dorvik's strongest supporter of nationalistic political ideals, working tirelessly for a powerful state and overbearing regional influence. To that end, the DNP believes a powerful military and war hawk policy is essential, as is the work of each individual in the state being driven to - and giving - their full potential. They support large government, but are open in their general contempt for the will of the majority and democratic principle, believing Dorvik would be considerably stronger under a well-structured, singular state. Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
