Established in January 3173 by various left-wing groups advocating progressive social policies and socialist economic thought. The party was also formed in opposition to the far right Vanguard for Virtue & Righteousness and to oppose economically liberal policies of the Liberal Party. The party is pro-immigration and fiercely anti-racist, being a firm advocate of the benefits of immigration, multiculturalism and interracial relationships. The party is very environmentally concerned, socially liberal and in favour of maintaining Kirlawa as a progressive unitary state. The IULP support a strong military with a citizen army in order defend our progressive values. The IULP heavily appeal to he working classes and immigrant descended groups. Trade Unionists and ethnic minorities are considered the most important supporters, although the party appeals to socialist minded environmentalists, middle class progressives and those who pursue interracial lifestyles. === Government Feb 3718 - 3 ministerial positions held in Cabinet, following an IULP proposal.
