Description[?]:
A Party formed under the idea of Neo-Classical Liberalism. The HNLP values values of democratic and civic Liberalism, including the need for a non-xenophobic form of nationalism to strengthen national spirit, nationalisation of certain areas of Government and the protection and amendment of civil rights. Neo-Classical Liberalism isn't an ideology built on one full side of the political compass; although centre-left/centre-kenyesian, it seeks to balance the progressiveness of liberalism with the cultural axis of conservatism, to seek a more-thought out solution to a straight demoralisation of one group and to use nationalisation not only as a means to control the economy but further it. Values: -Democracy -Monarchism -Secularism -Liberal Nationalism -Internationalism ========================================================================================== Party Leaders: Christopher Tarrow (4372-4280) Martin Tarrow (4440-) Current Important Party Members: Party Leader Martin Tarrow Candidate for Lucian Constituency in Roccato (4440-) Candidate for Royal Office Harrison Telson Candidate for Lake Alte in Roccato (4440-) ========================================================================================== Party Policy: Economic: Semi-socialist Keynesian approach -Smaller businesses should receive more Government support to create a competitive market -The Rights of corporations should not be tampered with, but regulated, taxed and be replaced in certain areas such as railways -Monopolies are a threat to the free market and the power of the democratic state -Austerity is justified under deficit however economic empowerment with targeted incentives is useful Health: Nationalised approach -A National Health Service is a right which the Government must provide -Private Healthcare should remain but under regulation -Free Healthcare is applicable to citizens and residents without need for appeal (excluding certain operations such as IVF Military: -Military spending must be kept at least 2% -Military spending should be moved from nuclear deterrents to more conventional projects Civil: Centre-left approach -Sexuality that does not endanger the rights of other citizens is not a threat and should be expressed without fear of discrimination -Racial, Sexual or other discrimination should be labelled as such Judicial: International: |
