Nation[?]: Mamlakat al-MajÄliyya al-Qalb (Kafuristan)
Seats[?] in Consultative Assembly (Majilis al-Shura)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
Formed May 2973, The Laborer's Oppurtunity League tried to start life as the "I think Halo is a pretty cool guy. eh kills aliens and doesn't afriad of anything party", but Kafuristan's party enrolment form didn't have enough spaces in it, so the name ended up being the "I think Halo is a pretty cool guy. eh ki party". After the ITHIAPCGEKP's rather explosive and short-lived entrance into Kafuristan's political system, it was reunified into the Laborer's Opportunity League, after the party faithful decided that this "politics bsns might be alrght". The party's name was merely chosen because it was the first credible sounding name thought up that made the acronym "LOL". The LOL's main party base is made of 4chan /b/tards. The mindset of most of these members is evident in the LOL's operations, as the party only seems to have a very basic grasp of Kafuristan's political process. Its main activities include routinely insulting opposition and coalition parties alike, the use of the inter-party communication system to declare its immunity to political parties that no longer exist, and shows a complete lack of interest in making its own legislation, apart from sudden deluges of bills that occur at seemingly random intervals. On that note, the LOL has no discernable party platform, changing policies more often than, well, anything. The LOL's ultimate aim is also clouded in mystery, though current popular theory points to an intention to provoke as many countries as possible into declaring war on Kafuristan, but no national would do that....would they? If fact, the LOL is indiscernable in itself, choosing to converse in internet memes and 1337 as often as English, which makes dealing with this party incredibly irritating to some. A well-known example occured in December 2608, when the Hizb al-Ahrar al-Kafuriyyah proposed several changes to Kafuristan's constitution. The LOL's only response was to read out the full lyrics of the theme song "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" up until the line "I pulled up to the house around 7 or 8", which was then repeated, like a broken record player, for no less than 17 hours. Several members of the Elite Four had to be rushed to the lolcal hospital due to dehydration, and the speech remains the longest ever to have occured in Kafuristan. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
