Details
Nation[?]: Kingdom of Hutori (Hutori)
Seats[?] in House of Parliament[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
Active Democracy has only one issue on its programme: to implement direct democracy. Members of AD receive an electronic ID with which they can log into our web-based voting platform. Any MPs sitting in parliament for AD are bound to vote in accordance with the results from the AD web platform. Our end goal is to dismantle the party system and implement Liquid Democracy (a.k.a. Delegative Democracy). Minister candidates of the AD are continuously elected through a ranking system where members put candidates in order of preference. If a candidate overtakes another at the first place, the Minister candidate of the AD will be changed accordingly after a buffer time. Ministers and MPs of AD are not supposed to pursue an agenda of their own, but are merely functionaries for the party's members. |
