THE LODAMUN LIBERAL-CONSERVATIVE PARTY MANIFESTO The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party is essentially a party of social conservative, and of economic classical liberal political beliefs. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes fervently in the preservation of traditional values, particularly family values, but also believes firmly in the virtues of liberty and the rights of the individual. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes firmly in negative liberty, but does not recognise positive liberty. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes in a strong system of law and order, including the death penalty as a strong deterrant for extreme criminals, and advocates a powerful national militairy presence. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party supports free-trade, and the abolishment of tarrifs. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party fervently supports laissez-faire capitalism. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party supports absolutely minimal taxation, and minimum government spending. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes in the 'user-pays' principal in most, if not every area. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party vehemently supports privitization, and believes that the market is best left to its own divices. Therefore, The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes in minimal government intervention in business, and small government in general. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes firmly in private property rights. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes firmly in the right of every law-abiding citizen to own firearms. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party is against abortion, euthanasia and stem-cell research. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party does not recognise homosexual civil unions, and opposes IVF treatment for gay couples. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party does not recognize the right of homosexual couples to adopt children. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party opposes pornography of any description, and believes that it should be completely banned. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party supports the sensorship and ban of any sexually explicit or pornographic material on television. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party is highly pro-Christianity. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes strongly in the private school system, and also the educational voucher system, as opposed to any state-funded school system. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party does not believe in sexual education in schools, and believes that sexual education and things of a similar nature are best left to the authority of parents and family. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party does not believe in the concept of the welfare state, and believes that any financial aid can be left to charity. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party ardently opposes any form of socialism and communism, and believes that Marxist ideology is the greatest evil ever to plague the world of politics. The Lodamun Liberal-Conservative Party believes that families are the most important societal entities, and believes in the sanctity of marriage, advocating for divorce only under the most extreme circumstances. |
