Description[?]:
"I am for Socialism because I am for humanity". -Eugene V Debs OUR VIEWS: LIBERALISM: We are quite liberal on social issues. We favor an open border, an open refuge policy, and the right to privacy. We oppose conservative attemps to impose their pseudomorality on others. DEMOCRACY: We believe in government "of the people, by the people, and for the people". We are liberal on civil rights issues. We oppose any form of dictatorship, wether capitalist, fascist, or "communist". We will fight to protect the democratic rights and civil liberties of the people. SOCALISM: We support a heavily regulated economy, and greater rights for the workers. We support more nationalized industry, and a national healthcare system. We support greater government involvement in the economy in order to stem the chaos of the free market. We favor a pension plan to support the elderly, and we support expanding welfare. Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
