The Populist Party was founded in October 5213 by Citizens who are fed up with the current political deadlock in the National Senate The Populists are dedicated to the ideals of right-wing populism, anti-elitism, laissez-faire liberalism, social progressivism, and justice for the common man. Most Populists are also right-wing libertarians when it comes to the role of the government in internal affairs and also believe in a privatized, but subsidized welfare state.
