The SDP (Social Democratic Party) was established in June 2625. It is based on the fundamental tenet that everyone is born free and equal and the progressive movement. In this regard it exercises, amongst others, the following fundamental principles: (1) Social Justice and Equality (2) A liberal society where everyone is considered equal, irrespective of race, gender, creed or sexual orientation (3) Enhancing and expanding the civil rights and liberties of Aloria (4) A free-market economy but one which is based on fair-trade and rights for the consumer, eradicating monopolies and cartels (5) Sustainable development and effective laws regulating pollution emissions and implementing eco-friendly incentives thus ensuring a clean and healthy environment. The SDP currently has no elected representatives in Parliament. It agrees with the Communists and Revolutionary Socialists on most issues and proposals, however its main political base is in the social progressive movement of Aloria. |
