Description[?]:
Founded by veterans who were disillusioned with the capriciousness and incompetence of their leaders, the LDV espouses the fundamental right to personal freedom, whether it be freedom from ideologues, plutocrats, presumptuous moral arbiters or exploitative corporate practices. Given its fiercely independent constituency and general mistrust of authority, the League must tend toward centrism and conciliation when debating most issues -- except those pertaining to civil rights. |
