Description[?]:
We are a traditional Social Democratic Party. Strong roots and support of the unions across Hutori are fundamental to the SDP. Beyond this we endorse grassroots movements, progressive policies in social welfare, education, renewable energy, and a peaceful foreign policy with a defensive military free of any nuclear or biological weapons! Give Diplomacy a go and peace a chance! Main Platform: 1. Cut Income Taxes across the board, with emphasis on the poor and middle class. 2. Promote the importance of investments in Science and Research 3. Further promote education. Education should be entirely free for any and everyone in Hutori! Let us be the Capital of Learning and Advancement! 4. A peaceful foreign policy vision. Let us expand trade through Fair Trade agreements and use diplomacy rather than aggression. 5. Have more Democracy in the workplace. Unions should be strengthened and protected, workplace laws re-written in favor of the workers, and a higher minimum wage is actively promoted. 6. Nationalization of Banks: The Banking Industry should be predominantly nationalized, with private banks allowed to compete side-by-side with each other and National Banks. 7. Companies should be regularly broken up when they become too large, to assure robust competition. 8. Re-Introduction of a Maximum Wage law. No one should be making obscene levels of wealth! Especially while the evils of poverty remain. 9. Protecting and expanding Environmental Regulations and maintaining a Carbon Tax remain fundamental to combatting climate change and assuring a future for our children and grandchildren. 10. Introduce generous child benefits that promote the many diverse families all across Hutori! Political Compass Economic Left/Right: -3.5 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.74 |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
