Description[?]:
The Beluzian Liberty and Freedom Party seeks to minimize government involvement in aspects of life, adapting a "live and let live" aspect to governance. While basic consumer protections should be in place, overreach of government can cause more issues than it solves. The party looks towards a peaceful relationship with neighboring nations, a more laissez-faire economy, and less government involvement and taxation. The party, formed primarily by a small group of concerned academics (primarily from Stantonshire University), historians, and cynical youth looking at less than favorable job prospects, were inspired by the old Beluzian Liberty Party's philosophy of government. The party's founder and first chairperson, Prof. Aaron Geary, has historically been the growing party's unanimous nominee for president. Because of its relative conservatism, especially in the face of the multiple further left parties prominent in politics, the party has been making many gains at the local level, and as such, is now trying to gain national attention. Most of the local gains, however, tend to be focused in Iker Ado and Negunia, where the party was formed. Party leadership: Prof. Aaron Geary, 4043- Negunia Regional Director: Aki Fujimoto-Geary, 4043- Iker Ado Regional Director: Dr. Whitney Beasley, 4043- Bailon Regional Director: Wesley Tailor, 4046- Iliathar Regional Director: Ian Hawthorne, 4047- Parlos Decina Regional Director: Matthew Ian Curtis, 4047- The party was established in June of 4043. |
