The Aldegarian Centrist Party is a party in Aldegar dedicated towards reviving a centrist political culture in Aldegar. General Secretary: Sara Shirazi (4361-present) Deputy General Secretary: Piruz Shirazi (4361-present) BIOGRAPHIES: Dr. Sara Shirazi Sara Shirazi was born in May 4332 in Dindar to Salman and Arya Shirazi. She is the eldest of 7 children. She excelled in academic activities from a young age. At the age of 16 she entered the University of Dindar and studied economics, graduating at the age of 20. She took on a position as a professor at Dindar upon graduation, and earned her masters degree at the age of 23 and her Ph.D at the age of 27. She was working as a professor when she ran for General Secretary of the ACP, hoping to change the country's biggest party. Surprisingly, she beat the current GS with 86% of votes. Immediately after election, she negotiated a coalition with the CNP. When the coalition won a supermajority in elections, Shirazi became the Prime Minister and began a reform program. When the CNP dissolved, her party became the sole party in Aldegar, and is expected to win 100% of the seats in the snap elections she called after the CNP's dissolution. Currently, she resides at the Ministerial residence in Paytakht, but will move to Dindar and take up residence in the Grand Palace after construction is completed in January 4363. |

Random quote: "A democracy that does not allow limits is not a democracy. Just as a limitless freedom is not freedom, but prevarication. Indeed, any theory of freedom worthy of this name is first of all a limit theory. If we extend the unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not willing to defend a tolerant society against the attacks of the intolerants, then the tolerants will be destroyed and the tolerance with them! Because, I ask to myself and ask you, given a certain system that we call democratic, which is today the best possible system to allow everyone to live freely and to be able to express their own thoughts, how can the same system admit attacks against its integrity? How can a system refuse the principle of the self-preservation? For this reason, to suppress the apologetics of thalerrism, it's for this reason that the exaltation of exegetes, principles, facts or methods of Thallerism and its anti-democratic aims does not constitute a violation of the freedom of manifestation of thought, but, on the contrary, the celebration of that freedom. The protection of the first premise on which a modern democratic system is based. And this premise must be safeguarded also and above all against itself and its abuses." ~ Malik Astori, Leadership of Liberty and Progress (Istalia) |
