Details
Nation[?]: Holy Luthorian Empire (Luthori)
Seats[?] in Imperial Diet (lower house), Imperial Senate (upper house)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
The Tóraighe's, founded in April 2252, represent a breakaway group from the Luthori Tory Party, dismayed at the close relationship between the Tories and the Whigs, the Tóraighe's aim to restore Toryism to its traditional roots. Most of the parties followers are High Church Luthorians. Critics accuse the Party of betraying traditional conservatism, due to its current permissive attitude with regards to civil liberties. However Party spokesmen suggest that High Churchmen are well known for not taking the hardline moral tone that Low Churchmen take, and as such they are more than willing to offer Luthorians in general a greater freedom in their individual lives. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
