----------------------------------- HISTORY-------------------------------------------- The Anarco-Communist party was formed in July of 4707 sick and tired of the one party system it has had for a few years. -----------------------------------IDEOLOGY--------------------------------------- The Anarco-Communist party is a party which prides itself on its ideas of universal free healthcare and education, strong trade unions, evenly distributed wealth, small decentralized federal government, Autonomous regional governments, and extensive civil rights. --------------------------- PARTY STRUCTURE--------------------------------- CHAIRMAN----Ulli Holzer/Female/56 The Chairman is the highest position of power within the Anarco-Communist Party; the Chairman heads the National Congress, oversees all activities within the party, and has broad appointment powers. The Chairman appoints the Vice-Chairman and Crownland Presidents that head their respective branches in those regions among other positions. He or she at this position traditionally acts as the party's candidate for the Governor-General of Hulstria though this is not always the case. The Chairman is always the most recognizable politician within the party and is almost always in the media spotlight acting as the national and unifying voice for the party. The Chairman also acts as the co-president of the "Anarco-Communist Party Political Action Committee", the party's main organizational body to elect political candidates locally and nationally. VICE-CHAIRMAN----Irmtraud Schroeter/Female/42 The Vice-Chairman is the second highest position of power within the party and is appointed by the Chairman to serve as his or her confidant and deputy leader. The Vice-Chairman as well sits on the National Congress and is responsible for supervising the National Monetary Committee, the party's national source for campaign cash. The Vice-Chairman appoints the Director of the National Monetary Committee though this is only done with consent of the National Congress and Chairman. CHIEF PARLIAMENTARY OFFICER----Gudrun Wang/Female/47 The Chief Parliamentary Director is the legislative leader of the Fascist Authority Party in the Imperial Diet; he or she acts as the central speaker of the party in the Imperial Diet and acts as the main representative of the National Congress in the legislature. The Chief Parliamentary Director also handles media relations within the Diet. However the Chief Parliamentary Director is not always a stand alone position; the Chairman of the Anarco-Communist Party The may also be the Chief Parliamentary Director in situtations where the Chairman is an elected member of the Imperial Diet or a cabinet Minister in His Imperial Majesty's Government. The Chief Parliamentary Director is elected every three years after every general election in cases where the office is not held by the Chairman and the National Congress subsequently signs off on it. GENERAL SECRETARY OF CROWNLAND COMMITTEE----Gereon Schmid/Male/39 The General Secretary of the Crownland Committee chairs the Council of Crownland Officers; the Council is made up of the five Chief Party Officers that head their respective branches of the party. The Council of Crownland Officers though highly ceremonial and they hold no special powers. However, the Council of Crownland Officers is responsible for electing a General Secretary of the Crownland Committee of the Anarco-Communist Party to represent them in the National Congress; the General Secretary as a result has voting and veto power in the National Congress where the Chief Party Officers do not. The General Secretarys as well usually act as the main spokesperson and representative of the Council on national party issues. CHIEF PARTY OFFICER----Menno Beltz/Male/70 The Chief Party Officer is the leader of the Crownland Committee of the Anarco-Communist Party in their respective regions; while appointed by the National Congress, they are first elected by their respective Crownland Committee in a regional, party wide election. The National Congress usually always appoints the winners of those party elections. Since the Chief Party Officer is the head of the Crownland Committee they have a considerable amount of power within their respective region; they are in charge of handling local campaign offices, party recruitment, appointing local figures to various positions in the Crownland Committee, and organizing political rallies. PRESIDENT----Elsa Süss/Female/88 The President of the Crownland Anarco-Communist Party is the political leader of the party in their respective Crownlands; the President is appointed by the Chairman and the National Congress. The President acts as the leader of their respective branch of the Anarco-Communist Party in the Crownland they are appointed to. |
