The Solidarity Democrats were formed in October 4999 by an alliance of trade unions, faith organizations and civil rights NGOs who were fed up of Cildanias lack of leadership and direction. Currently the party doesn't have an individual membership structure but members of any affiliated organization might identify themselves as a member of the party. Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
