Description[?]:
Founded in 2710 as a Nationalist, Liberal, Reform party. As a new party, there is little consensus on policy specifics as of yet. Members range from libertarians to monarchists to conservatives. They could generally be described as right-wing on economic issues and diverse on social policy. The two loudest factions at the moment are the leading "left" and "right" factions. These are the Democratic Reform Movement, which calls for more efficient and democratic government, and the Coburan Rights Initiative, which opposes immigration and supports nationalism. One subject which unites the factions is support for Tokundi nationalism and a Home Rule Parliament. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
